Our Photographic Courses are unique. With little, or no experience of photography, no other course will give you the knowledge and skill to set up a successful full or part time wedding or portrait business within four months of starting your course.

It is not possible to learn all that is required to operate and run a professional photography business on a 1, 2 or 4 day course. This is why our courses are spread over a 3 or 6 months period to give you the time to assimilate all the knowledge required.

We teach a skill, and how to make money out of it as fast as possible. We have trained over 200 people from all walks of life, who are now making a good living from their professional wedding and portrait photography.

• You will learn the selling techniques employed by David MacDonald to achieve average sales of over £900 per family portrait session
• You will discover how most of our ex students average over £2,000 per wedding
• Following completion of your course your weddings and portraits will look like you have been a professional photographer for 10 years or more.
• Many students have earned their course fees back before the end of the course, sometimes achieving portrait sales in excess of £1,000.
• Nationally renowned judges for the Master Photographers Association and the British Institute of Professional Photographers, George Dawber, Peter Ellis, Ray Lowe, Llewellyn Roberts and many others have said that licentiate qualification panels from Barrett & Coe course attendees are of a consistently higher standard than the other panels they judge.

• Included in your course is the opportunity to accompany a Barrett & Coe photographer on a wedding and to sit in on portrait sessions and viewings
• One to one business planning consultation with Andrew Coe to help you launch your business

• We have researched many ex students and their average is over £2,000 per wedding.  
  We have many with portrait sales in excess of £70,000 per year in addition to weddings.
• Groups are usually about 6 to 8 and include one-to-one sessions with Brian Barrett and Andrew Coe.  Also included are sessions where you can accompany a Barrett & Coe photographer on real wedding and portrait shoots.

• Practical Day for 6th seminar, experience with models at a 5* hotel, what it’s like photographing a real wedding or family portrait sitting. Each student is awarded a Barrett & Coe Diploma on completion of the course.

In the last 12 months our students have come from as far away as Russia, Norway, Bahrain, Scotland and Ireland.  All have been so impressed that they returned for a second course. (We do one Wedding and one Portrait course). On finishing the course, Barrett & Coe are the only people who can provide immediate bookings so that you have a profitable business from your very first day i.e. we can do all the marketing and appointment bookings for you. All you have to do is take the photographs and the money.

Each student is presented with a much coveted Barrett & Coe Diploma in Photography upon completion of their course. Approximately 10% of our students gain a Grade 1 Diploma score.
