Our courses are aimed at people with little or no experience, we do not offer training to established photographers other than our own members.
Our aim is very clear. To teach a skill and how to earn money from that skill as fast as possible.
We have researched many ex students and their average is over £2000 per wedding. We have many with portrait sales in excess of £70,000 per year in addition to weddings.
Many students achieve these levels soon after completing a Barrett and Coe course which, we feel, makes the course good value.
One student, (having no photographic experience at all) actually achieved his licentiate qualification within six weeks of coming to us for the first time. However, we believe that tuition and feedback over a 4-6 month period is essential so that the brain has time to assimulate all the knowledge (both business and photographic) that is required to run a successful business.
Groups are usually about 6 to 8 and include one to one sessions with Brian Barrett and Andrew Coe. Also included are sessions where the student can accompany on real wedding and portrait shoots.

If a course student joins the Barrett and Coe group (and there is no obligation whatsoever) the members are encouraged to broaden their outlook by attending other seminars by, Kevin Wilson, Martin Grame Dunne, Annabelle Williams etc.
Indeed on Monday Feb 9th at Huntingdon, where nearly 40 members attended, David MacDonald gave a superb seminar just for Barrett and Coe members.
In our opinion a few days together are not suitable to take a complete beginner from zero to succesful business start up.
In the last 12 months our students have come from Russia, Norway, Bahrain, Scotland, Ireland etc. All have been so impressed that they returned for a second course. (We do one Wedding and one Portrait course).

On finishing the course Barrett & Coe are the only people who can provide immediate bookings so that you have a profitable business from your very first day i.e. we can do all the marketing and appointment bookings for you. All you have to do is take the photographs and the money
It is not possible to learn all that is required to operate and run a professional photography business on a 2 or 3 day course. This is why our courses are spread over a 3 or 6 month period to give you the time to asimilate all the knowledge required.
